Very easy to use unit has an almost colorless flame. This makes it excellent for demonstrating different flame color from various elements. The unit is very tip resistent and easy to use.

Microburners are easy to use. My students have all learned to use them. They are also very compact and easy to store. They are also versatile when used with the stands.

I love the Burner. It has been used a great deal already, one reason why I wish it held a little more fuel, otherwise great to have in a lab or school with no gas jets.

Powerful for its size

I have used this burner for 2 months now. And it still works great. I would recommend this product for students who need a hot flame to work with for their experiments. I was most impressed by the heat given from burner, its just like a stove! But the cons of this product are that butane is expensive and it dosent last very long. And filling the burner is a problem. I can never fill it full, the butane just sprays everywhere when i fill it. And this causes my burner to only burn for 15min before it runs out of gas. And this should not be used outside, a small breeze could blow it out easily. Overall its pretty good but could be expensive.

ArborScientific Response: When properly refilled the Micro Burner will run for about an hour. Instructions for refilling are contained within the product datasheet.
