This was used by a student in my science club. He did a demonstration with it for our haunted science lab. The best part was the simplicity. It is easy for the student to set up and the concept behind how the illusion works is basic enough for a 6th grader to understand and explain. It has a big WOW factor. We had guests of all ages and everyone thought it was real neat and had fun with it.

There is a larger one available at another website that looks much better, but is more twice the money. However, this one is sufficient for home and teaching purposes.

I absolutely love this item. I mounted it in a wooden box that I picked up at a [...] and have it mounted in my classroom. Albert appears to be looking at each and every student. The students love it and it provokes thought and learning in the classroom.

I have been a physics teacher for 17 yrs. and optical illusions are one of my favorite topics to demonstrate and discuss. This one is flat out awesome! I have it set up permanently on a shelf with a back light. If you like illusions, or just love Einstein you can't go wrong with this one.

I used Einstein Alive in an after school science program focusing on light. At first my students were awestruck... By the end of class they clearly understood concave versus convex. A great effective teaching tool!! I highly recommend it!
P.S. I now use it in my home entryway!!

This is a fascinating and waaaay creepy optical illusion! I work for a university and the students, faculty, and staff alike were transfixed. It is very effective and the explanation about why the optical illusion works (which comes with the item) is great. This is the same technology used in the masks that look like they're following you in the haunted house at Disneyland. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that Einstein arrived with a bruised nose. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this item.

The students are amazed by this product!
