Comments about Arbor Scientific Diffraction Materials Card:
Don't limit diffraction gradients to light spectrum studies. Shine a laser on the wall and use the diffraction gradient to see the spacing. Shine the laser through a crystal and the gradient can be used to measure the distances within the lattice. Compare the variations in effects of the different gradient and different wavelength on the same crystal. This is a great hands-on tool for exploring atomic structural concepts. The cheaper, diffraction glasses can be used to see spectrums, but these gradients allow the possibility of measurement.
