Standard features for this balance include: a memory feature for additive sample weighing; easy auto calibration with integrated external calibration weights; larger stainless steel weighing surfaces; faster microprocessor speeds and digital filtration for better stability. The Acculab VIC-511 weighs up to 510g with 0.1g precision. You may select either metric or English units with a simple switch and choose between 14 different mass unit conversions. The balance stabilizes in 3-4 seconds, returns to zero automatically when weight is removed and has a Tare feature for rapid weighing of liquids. This Acculab balance operates on either line current (AC adapter included) or a 9volt battery. The balance comes with a flip-down plastic cover for protection in transportation and stackable storage. The weighing pan is 5.5" x 5" and the dimensions of the whole balance are 6.8" x 3.15" x 9.8".
