Using a super-bright 1 watt LED and a flexible thin-film solar panel, you can build a flashlight inside a recycled 1 liter soda bottle! Easy to build, with no complicated tools required. (You just need a utility knife and scissors; drill and soldering iron are optional.) Includes solar panel with blocking diode, push-button on/off switch, battery holder with 3 AAA NiMH rechargeable batteries, all the wiring and complete instructions. For age 10 (with adult help) and up.
