Product details and specifications for the Worlds Simplest Motor.

Ideal for introducing students of any age to electricity and magnetism!

This easy-to-use kit is priced so you can give all your students a hands-on first step into technology. By building and observing a motor that converts electrical energy into motion, students discover and explore first-hand several key properties of electricity and magnetism. Set-up is a snap. Current supplied by a D battery (sold separately) creates a magnetic field around the coil, causing the coil to push away from the ceramic magnet in the base and spin as long as current is present.
