Great for demonstrating wavelengths, refraction, and diffraction, this handy laser features parallel red and green beams that can be projected individually or together. Passing both beams through a prism provides a striking illustration of the dependence of wavelength on refraction. It's perfect for introducing lessons on spectrums and rainbows. When used with a diffraction grating, students can easily observe the spacing differences between the antinodes in the red wavelengths and green wavelengths right from their seats. Then they can use the spacing separations to measure the wavelengths of the different colors. Metal case and two AAA batteries included.
