Built solid, this fully electronic spark timer provides two different spark timing rates of 10 or 60 Hz. Measuring just 90 x 97 x 37 mm, it lends itself perfectly to both bench-top and support-mounted experiments.
The low-friction discharge needle, which barely touches the spark-sensitive 1 cm tape, makes it ideal for air tracks and free-fall experiments. For clarity of measurement, the discharge needle (which is fully adjustable for greatest accuracy) leaves a double dot at each point. Includes a self-storing cord, bench clamp, and a free roll of spark tape. Operates on standard line voltage of 110v 60hz AC.
