Achieve consistent, predictable results with this marble ramp.

We have placed a convenient opening at the end of the ramp with a metal plate for attachment, so you can attach any photogate to the end and measure the marble’s initial velocity. Then predict its final position. You’ll be amazed at the accuracy of the results!

Students can also try to predict the motion using conservation of energy.

Constructed of aluminum, the ramp is 6” high and 13” long and comes with one steel marble. You’ll need a clamp to hold it to the table. Complete instructions and experiments included.
