An affordable and more durable solution than gas discharge tubes, this LED light source produces known wavelengths of light which can be used to verify t operation of handheld spectroscopes as well investigate the effects of color mixing and the principles of spectroscopy. Four LEDs can be switched on or off independently and can be used in any combination. The colors span the visible spectrum with Red (660 nm), Orange (610 nm), Green (502 nm), and Blue (470 nm). 2 AAA batteries not included.
