The law of conservation of momentum states that the momentum of an object before collision is equal to the combined momentum of the object and what it collides with after the collision. Therefore let that tailgater collide with you and it can be determined how fast they were traveling (never mind that their speed was close to yours or they wouldn't be tailgating). Kit includes one dart with gun attached by a string for safety and a cool jeep with Velcro on its bumper for the dart to stick to. An extra piece of Velcro is provided because this kit is sure to be a hit with your students.
