Visual Electricity Demonstrator
Item # P6-2600
Bright, easy-to-see LEDs in the unit represent the flow of charges particles through the circuit as the Visual Electricity Demonstrator pulses to life.
Help students visualize the flow of electricity!
The Visual Electricity Demonstrator displays current generated by a generator or by batteries to help your students better understand the dynamic nature of electric current.
Bright, easy-to-see LEDs in the unit represent the flow of electrons through the circuit as the Visual Electricity Demonstrator pulses to life. Connect it to a 1-Farad Capacitor, and the unit demonstrates the charging capabilities of a generator, simulating the flow of electric current as it recharges and discharges.
Visually display how charged particles are stationary in an open circuit. Connect the Visual Electricity Demonstrator to different sources and circuits to see how the flow of electric current is affected.
Products being sold are not toys. They are for Educational / Labratory use only. They are not for use by children 12 and under.
In using this product, many of the national and states' science education standards are covered. Some examples are provided here. These are representative, however. Check with your state to find the exact standards.
Electricity in circuits can produce light, heat, sound, and magnetic effects. Electrical circuits require a complete loop through which an electrical current can pass.
Describe charged particle flow in simple circuits.
Demonstrate that electricity can flow in a circuit and can produce heat, light, sound, and magnetic effects
