Measure the acceleration due to gravity by using this kit. Includes meter stick string dowel ball with hole and clamp.

Galileo had great difficulty measuring the acceleration due to gravity but you can do it by comparing a free falling object to the swing of a pendulum with this kit and a ring stand. Acceleration of Freefall kit contains a meter stick with eye hooks at each end for attaching string along with plenty of string and a 3/4" ball with hole. It also includes a piece of dowel with necessary attachments and a clamp to attach the whole thing to the ring stand. If only Galileo had come across Arbor Scientific.
