This Force Table allows you to measure vector forces and angles with clear visibility and understanding. When the forces are balanced, the system is in static equilibrium. This can be achieved by easily arranging each pulley around the table's edge and adjusting the weight on each cord until the ring is centered on the Force Table and forces are balanced.
Any given force must act in some particular direction. A body may be acted on several forces at one time and each may act in a different direction. Their net effect will depend on the direction in which each one acts and the magnitude of each. Use this Force Table to visually demonstrate this theory.
