Law of Reflection of Light

Law of Reflection of Light

Purpose

In this activity, students will "discover" that light reflected form a mirror's surface is reflected in a systematic, predictable way such that the angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection.

Discussion

How does light reflect from a mirror surface? Explore the relationship between the angle of incidence and the angle of reflection.
