Create, run, and change experiments not possible or practical in the lab. Perhaps the most widely known educational physics simulator, IP includes a library of over 150 ready-to-run experiments. Create models; add objects like springs, dampers, and ropes; measure attributes of your objects like velocity, acceleration, momentum, and energy. Display these measurements as numbers, graphs, or animated vector displays.
The Workshop Projects acquaint new users with the available tools and get them started with six simple experiments. Users can attach images to the objects they create and add sound effects or sound measurements to their experiments.
Besides building models, Interactive Physics lets you and your students take important measurements while a simulation runs. You can:

Information regarding Interactive Physics licensing options. There are two types of licensing available to run the Interactive Physics Software.
Single User (commonly referred to as "Traditional" or "Node Lock")
Choose single-user licensing when you need the program to be installed and run directly on individual workstations. No dedicated server is required. This type of licensing can be used off-site where no connection to a network is needed.
A license must be purchased for every computer where the software is to be run.
This type of licensing uses a dedicated server to be shared amongst any number of workstations. The number of students using the software at a given time must not exceed the number of licenses purchased.
