Charging an object by induction is a common physics classroom activity performed in electrostatics. Our Charge Separation Rods can be used to demonstrate this method. Each aluminum rod is supported by insulating stands so that any charge acquired by the rods cannot travel to the ground. A great accessory for the E-Field Detector (#96-3580).
