Additional Details
A periscope is an optical device most commonly used for making observations from a concealed or protected location or where an obstacle prevents normal line of sight. In its most simple form, two reflective surfaces are held parallel to each other at either end of a tube and at 45 degrees to the axis. In this fun and engaging classroom STEM activity, students are able to build and test their own periscope for exploring the law of reflection. The kit includes assembly instructions, background information, and scientific explanation to help the teacher at every stage of the activity and resulting class discussion.
