Kinetic Energy Takes Off!

This cool little car uses the stored kinetic energy of its brightly colored flywheel to send it scooting across the floor. With its optimal gear ratio, Zecar can climb up inclines and over obstacles like you would not believe. A rotating object (the flywheel) possesses kinetic energy. The amount of energy depends on the object's rate of rotation as well as the quantity and distribution of mass in the object.
