Bree’s Work with STEP UP & Arbor Scientific

STEP UP is a national community of physics teachers, researchers, and professional societies who design high school physics lessons to empower teachers, create cultural change, and inspire young women to pursue physics in college.

As Ambassador Program Coordinator for STEP UP, Bree has been pivotal in advancing equity in physics education, empowering girls and underrepresented groups to pursue careers in physics, and was awarded the 2025 Zitzewitz Award in recognition for her work.
