This Display Cell is a sealed glass bottle that contains ferrofluid in a suspension liquid. Ferrofluid is a colloidal liquid made of particles less than 10 nanometers, and when subjected to a magnetic field (magnet), the nanoparticles form regular patterns of peaks and valleys. It is simple, fun and a fantastic way to demonstrate ferrofluid with any age student. Strong magnet is included.
