This custom-built, low-friction bar magnet stand is a simple and effective tool for demonstrating magnetic repulsion and attraction. Place a bar magnet on the stand and point opposite poles at each other and watch the swivel rotate one way. Point like poles at each other and it instantly spins the opposite way. Pair it with our Steel Bar Magnets, Alnico Bar Magnets and/or Plastic Covered Bar Magnets. Shown with Plastic Covered Bar Magnet # P8-1146.
