Additional Details
Even Sir Isaac Newton would have been a fan of the Fan Cart!
Put the sail in place, and the cart stays still. Remove the sail, and watch it go! This inexpensive tool is perfect for opening up a discussion of Newton's laws of motion, inertia, acceleration, and action-reaction. Fan carts have typically been offered with many more gadgets at much higher prices, but for under $30, this makes it affordable for any classroom.
Teacher Recommend: "This Fan Cart gave me a way to produce near constant acceleration without the use of gravity. I liked the fact I could demonstrate Newton's 2nd Law by varying forces produced by the fan with different masses. It was a good way to show that acceleration is proportional to the net force over the mass."
Please Note: The Fan Cart's blades may break if they come into contact with an object while spinning. Inexpensive replacement blades are available.
Fan style and color may vary. Requires two AA batteries, not included.
Products being sold are not toys. They are for Educational / Laboratory use only. They are not for use by children 12 and under.
