Product Details
Continually examine erosion with this complete pump kit. The high-volume submersible pump, features adjustable speed and recycles water from the included 2.25 gallon collection bin, eliminating the need for access to a continuous water supply like a lab faucet. The system simulates real river and stream conditions which allows students to observe erosion and sediment deposition.
This kit provides a clear, engaging way to explore geological processes and the impact of erosion. Includes a 120V pump, water receptacle, and 65" tubing for easy setup and controlled water flow.
For use with:
Stream Table Kit (20-0100)
To minimize debris going through the pump, make sure the pump is mounted just below the water line in the catch basin. Also, make sure the end of the outlet tube (from the stream table) is located at the bottom.
