The goal was to create a self-contained, classroom-friendly system that demonstrates cutting-edge renewable energy concepts using safe, accessible materials. The Dye-Sensitized Solar Cell Kit (Juice from Juice) is designed for a class of 30 students working in pairs (or slightly more with groups of three), with pairs teaming up into groups of six to use multimeters. It’s a powerful way to bring renewable energy science to life—using sunlight, juice, and student curiosity.
